Our current implementation plan includes building an online collaboration workspace, called AjaxWorkspace. It is a virtual office where user can work, communicate and collaborate with their teammates to complete a task in a centralize location. Users do not need to be physically together in order to accomplish a task. It offers a bunch of collaboration tools to help users to collaborate with each other in a secured online workspace.

We always receive feedbacks from user asking “What is AjaxWorkspace.com? It looks complex! I do not how to start…” So, we decided to draw out the big picture of AjaxWorkspace here.

Project Members- User added by workspace owner which only has full access right in the certain project but does not allow creating new project.

I got chance to work in different type of companies in my working life. Basically it can be categorized in to 2 types; either project base or product base. However, I found that most of the project or product development is not being managed well. You can see someone is doing nothing all the time and someone is busy like hell. Manager or top management never knows exactly what the progress is. We do not really have a system to manage, assign task to worker, and keep track the progress of each individual’s task. We always end up with sending, replying email in order to communicate, and sharing files among team members. It was really a terrible experience.
I had spent some of my free time to develop an online collaboration solution for teamwork and project management, ajaxworkspace.com. I know this cannot compare with other professional collaboration tools like groove or SharePoint since this only develop by me alone. However, I hope I can improve it to become better and better. Hopefully, it can be use by SOHO user, freelancer and small-mid size company. Here are some of the product features I get from ajaxworkspace.com
